foietella

finally got to sample some foietella (foie + chocolate) from xocolatl de david this weekend and i have to say i was completely underwhelmed. brilliant idea, mediocre execution. the texture was really creamy and luxurious but i could barely taste the foie. either the chocolate overpowered the foie or there wasn't enough foie. maybe i'll try to perfect the idea at home some day. i'd also like to see a dulce de leche foietella.
